One Vision Counselling Service

One Vision Counselling Service is a low cost privately run counselling service supporting people aged 18+ with emotional and psychological difficulties.

One Vision Counselling Service was founded in 2016 by a team of counsellors with a mission to provide professional, ethical and safe counselling at a lower cost in order to make counselling more affordable and accessible.

We value confidentiality and ensure that the trust clients place in us is ethically maintained, and will facilitate a safe and trusting environment to work through your concerns.

Mission statement

We are an innovative counselling service that offers regular and flexible therapy sessions to clients.

We ensure our clients have choice in finding the right therapy for them, in a safe and appropriate therapeutic environment that is also affordable.

It is important to develop a good therapeutic relationship with our clients to enable them to work through the issues they bring to counselling. The service provides a safe and supportive environment where clients are able to work through their issues and make positive changes in their lives. The counsellors are experienced integrative therapists with different specialisms.

All of our counsellors work ethically, are genuine, non-judgemental and empathic in their practice with clients.

Equality, diversity and difference

One Vision Counselling Service is committed to ensuring equal access to our service for all clients. We respect diversity and difference in our clients and our therapists and we aim to provide an inclusive service at all times. We have one vision in One Vision Counselling Service, and this is to embrace and welcome all aspects of difference and diversity, to be open to discussing these issues, and to establish and promote inclusivity.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update – 19 July 2020

We offer face-to-face sessions and remote sessions.

This depends on client preference. As the situation changes, we are able to offer a blended approach to counselling and psychotherapy so that sessions can continue remotely if you need to self-isolate. We will continue to work with the Government’s advice and guidance, and adhere to the advice given by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We continue to ask our clients standard questions relating to Coronavirus risk at each face-to-face session and our COVID Client Agreement remains in place.

We are still continuing to offer counselling and are taking on new clients, so please contact us for enquiries.

***  Please read our COVID-19 information for clients.  ***

We can offer remote sessions if you are unable to attend in person.

We are taking new referrals and the service is operating as usual wherever possible.

If you are a new client interested in counselling sessions, please do get in touch with us for a telephone assessment.

Please contact us to discuss if you need to cancel your session.
